Reggie has consigned this flask to Heckler Auction, who will sell it in their Spring 2005 Auction #73.
Listed as GIV-30 (page 598) in McKearin's "American Bottles & Flasks and Their Ancestry" book, they also list this as the #8 most desirable flask (page 502). Condition is mint with just the slightest bit of honest base wear. Mold is crisp, making this the best possible example of this extremely rare and desirable flask. Open pontil base, smooth lip, half pint, light olive green glass. Front has 5-pointed star with crossed keys. Reverse has square and compass around backwards letter "G". Attributed to Coventry Glass Works in Connecticut.
The only other publicly sold example went for $33,000 in 1993 by Norm Heckler Auction.
