keep contents from evaporating over time,

My Princess Anna holding the Queen
Medium amber shading to yellow in arms and shoulders, figural of an Indian
Queen, Ring code B-224, height 12 1/4", smooth base (has felt pads affixed
to base to prevent high point wear on base), ground lip,
retains 80% of the original gold trim paint,
American circa 1868-1875,
near mint condition with only damage being some chips that resulted
in manufacturing when the lip was ground.
Keeper used in display.

glass would be mint except for 1/8" flake off back of lip,
Ring code F-59 (scarcer than the common F-58),

One expert calls this a deep cherry puce - hard color to describe
but definitely better than standard amber (will try to get better PIC),

Yellow-amber glass, ABM, square bottom, height 9 1/8", cabin-shaped
(very similar in shape to St. Drakes 1860 Plantation Bitters),
picture of apple embossed on 3 sides,
"DEPOT No 37 Nth FRONTSt PHILADa" embossed on 4th side,
diagonal ridges on corner of each side, beautiful bottle,
keeper.
Eddie (Email: jhartwe1@tampabay.rr.com)
provided useful info that this bottle was an early repro put out
by the Nuline Company. They also come in green and blue.
There is another repro that looks just like it but
is embossed "Berring's Apple Bitters".
The Berring's repro says Taiwan on the base.
Rings' "For Bitters Only" book lists P61 "PERRINE'S APPLE GINGER BITTERS" as a
modern reproduction.
