   Deep aqua or light teal glass, height 6 7/8", BIM with hutch-style blob top, smooth base has an anchor, excellent condition with overall wear and stain but no chips/cracks, SOLD.

3. OTTO BRANDT / 287 WASHINGTON / St / NEWARK / N.J. Back: TRADE MARK / O.B. / THIS BOTTLE / NOT TO BE SOLD
   Aqua tinted glass, height 6 7/8", BIM with hutch-style blob top, smooth base embossed "PAT 8", excellent condition with some slight case wear and no stain, For Sale $15 at Granddaddy's.

4. THE C.C. CO. / CHARLESTON, W.Va. Front Left Top Right Top
   Ice blue tinted glass, height 7", BIM with Hutchinson-style blob top, embossing in circular slug plate, excellent condition with some wear and scuffs and light areas of stain - does have a 1/4" by 1/8" shallow flake off the left side of the blob and a small patch of roughness on right side of blob but no other chips/cracks. A tough West Virginia hutch to find in any condition.

5. CRYSTAL BOTTLING CO. / CHARLESTON / W.VA.
   Aqua tinted glass, height 6 3/4", BIM with Hutchinson-style blob top, embossing in circular slug plate, mug based, very good condition with some stain on front and rust stain inside lip (probably wear the stopper rusted away), only damage is a shallow 1/4" chip off right side of blob.
   Sold at eBay.

6. DOEPP & JONES / RALEIGH.N.C. Front Back Before Cleaning
   Aqua tinted glass, height 7 1/8", BIM with blob top for gravitating stopper, also has original glass stopper (but the rubber seal is long gone), stopper is embossed "PATENTED / AUG 28 1882 / OCT 11 1884", circa 1884-90, has fancy D&J logo on reverse side, cleaned to excellent condition - no chips/cracks, Keeper.

7. JOHN LYNCH / No 75 / SOUTH AVENUE / ROCHESTER / N.Y.
   Aqua tinted glass, height 7", BIM with Hutchinson-style blob top, smooth base embossed with large "L", excellent condition with slight case wear and stain but no chips/cracks, still has original stopper inside, keeper since it has my last name.

8. J.H. LYNCH / LOWELL / MASS / REGISTERED
   Pale aqua tinted glass, height 7", BIM with blob top, looks like a hutchinson but has marble inside for stopper and rubber gasket still inside lip, embossing above in circular slug plate, also embossed around bottom with "PATENTED FEB 20 1883 / JUNE 23 85 & AUG 4 85", base embossed "F B S / 2", excellent condition with some stain/wear but no chips/cracks, earlier version of the bottle above, Keeper with my last name on it.

9. REGISTERED / LYNCH & LIVINGSTON / POINT PLEASANT / N.J.
   Aqua tinted glass, BIM with Hutchinson-style blob top, height 6 5/8", smooth base embossed "W S H / 015, mug-based, excellent condition with minor case wear and slight stain and a couple dings, keeper with my last name on it.

10. MONTGOMERY / CARBONATING CO. / MONTGOMERY, W.VA. Front Left Top Right Top
    Ice blue tinted glass, height 6 �", BIM with Hutchinson-style blob top, embossing in circular slug plate, on back above base has "THIS BOTTLE NEVER SOLD / C & CO. 15", excellent condition with hardly any stain - has some very light case wear on back above base - and a scuff that appears above slug plate - a 1/8" shallow nick on top of blob and a tiny ping on top of other side of blob - that's it - no other damage - just wanted to be accurate. A very tough West Virginia hutch to find in any condition.

11. NEW RIVER / BOTTLING CO. / SEWELL, W.Va.
    Green tinted glass, height 7", BIM with hutch-style blob top, embossed in circular slug plate, smooth base embossed "THE LIQUID" inside a diamond, above base on rear side is embossed "M.B.&G. CO. 33.". Excellent condition with some light stain and few tiny pings but no chips/cracks. Still has original metal stopper inside. For Auction at eBay - ends Sep 16, 2002.

12. S.C. PALMER / WASHINGTON / D.C. / THIS BOTTLE / IS NEVER SOLD Front Back
    Amber glass, height 7 1/4", BIM with blob top, this is a gravitating stopper style bottle (not a hutch, but this was closest category I had), near mint condition - never been cleaned - great example, SOLD.

13. QUINNIMONT / BOTTLING CO. / QUINNIMONT, W.VA.
    Green tinted glass, height 7", BIM with hutch-style blob top, embossed in circular slug plate, above base on front embossed "REGISTERED", above base on rear embossed "THIS BOTTLE IS NEVER SOLD / M.B.&G. CO. 5", excellent condition with some light stain and small spots of wear - only chip/crack/bruise is a 3/8" shallow chip on front/top of blob. Still has original metal stopper inside.

14. STANDARD / BOTTLING WORKS / MINNEAPOLIS, / MINN. Front Base
    Medium amber glass, height 6 7/8", BIM with hutch-style blob top, embossed in circular slug plate, base embossed with large "H.R.", professionally cleaned to excellent condition - retains a few small pings but no case wear and no chips/cracks. The base picture shows a spot at edge of base that appears to be a nick or open bubble but I looked at it closely and it appears to be manufacturing defect, I checked with black light to insure no repairs. 15. THE STANDARD BOTTLING WORKS & MFG. CO./ CRIPPLE CREEK / COLO.
    Aqua green tinted glass, height 6 5/8", BIM with hutch-style blob top, smooth base has "20", excellent condition with an inside lip nick and some light wear/stain but no chips/cracks, has original wire stopper inside (probably the thing that caused the lip nick). This is the place that inspired the "Up on Cripple Creek" song by Creedance Clear Water Revival. SOLD.

16. PALMYRA BOTTLING WORKS PALMYRA PA / REGISTERED
    Ice blue glass, height 6 3/4", BIM with hutch-style blob top, smooth base embossed with large "P", embossing in oval slug plate, paneled base, unusual style for a hutch, embossing painted white for highlighting (can be removed), excellent condition with some case wear but no chips/cracks,

17. H. RUMMEL / CHARLESTON / W.VA.
    Pale green tinted glass, height 7", BIM with Hutchinson-style blob top, embossing in circular slug plate, back embossed "D.O.C." above base, has original stopper inside lip, good condition with overall stain - has a few impact marks and a deep 3/4" chip on bottom left of front (shows in photo). Not the best of shape but starting bid is only $1.

    Clear glass, height 7", BIM with hutch-style blob top, embossing in circular slug plate, mug-based, plain base, near mint condition with light stain but no chips/cracks/wear - great condition, Keeper.

19. JAS. F. TAYLOR / NEW BERNE / N.C.
    Clear glass, height 6 �", BIM with hutch-style blob top, embossing in tombstone-style slug plate, smooth base embossed "T 36", very good condition with some pings/scratches but no chips/cracks,

20. TRI-STATE / BOTTLING CO. / HUNTINGTON, W.VA. Front Lip Bruise
    Green tinted glass, height 6 �", BIM with Hutchinson-style blob top, embossing in circular slug plate, embossed "REGISTERED" below slug plate, back embossed "THIS BOTTLE NEVER SOLD / M.B. & G. CO. 5" above base, has original stopper inside, excellent condition with some stain/dirt but little case wear and no chips/cracks - does have some roughness around top of lip including a 1/2" bruise inside the lip (probably from when it was originally opened). The bruise only shows up when the light hits it just right, as shown in one of the photos. A tough West Virginia hutch to find.

21. C. VALER & CO / ELECTRIC BOTTLERS / CHARLOTTE, N.C.
    Aqua tinted glass, height 6 3/4", BIM with hutch-style blob top, embossing in circular slug plate, base has number that looks like 62, cleaned to excellent with some light case wear but no chips/cracks except for a tiny lip flake, rarer variant of bottle that is more commonly found without "ELECTRIC BOTTLERS", Keeper.

22. WEST VA. / CARBONATING Co. / HINTON, W.Va.
    Aqua tinted glass, height 6 �", BIM with Hutchinson-style blob top, embossing in circular slug plate, excellent condition with overall stain but little case wear and no chips/cracks - would tumble to near mint. Embossing looks weak in picture but is quite bold in person. A nice West Virginia hutch.

23. WINSLOW JUNCTION BOTTLING Co {W&R} / N.J.
    Aqua tinted glass, BIMAL with blob top, Hutchinson-style bottle, height 8", has 10 vertical panels around the base, lettering is via slug plate, logo design in middle of plate is interlocking "W" (for Winslow) and "R" (for Rosedale?) letters, excellent condition with some light spots of case wear, circa 1880-90.
    Learned from Tony Pagano toncath2@bellatlantic.net that Rosedale, NJ & Winslow Junction were once part of a timber tract that was owned by the Coffin & Hay Glassworks. Tony lives in this area. There were two factories: one in Hammonton and the other in Winslow, about 5 miles apart. The bottle was put out by a hotel operator who served guests traveling on the nearby railroads - the "Junction" refers to several rail lines that used to connect and cross over one another at the Winslow yard. The works in Winslow continued until about 1890 or so by the successors of the Hay family, until the glassworks was destroyed by fire. Not much is left today of Winslow Junction; the hotel burned and the rail roads have largely been removed.
    This bottle was sold to Denise Stewart (Email: DStewCan@aol.com) who is the great granddaughter of Mr Stewart, the innkeeper at Winslow Junction. Denise use to take walks to Winslow Junction with her grandfather who also worked there.
