The club was founded in 1977 and
recently had our 20 year celebration and dinner.
"Artifacts" was added to the club name because most members have bottles
as a common bond but often specialize in other collectables too.
For club activities, we have meetings the first Wednesday of each month (unless it falls on a holiday like July 4 and then it is the 2nd Wed). We meet at the Cape Fear Community College on 411 Front St. in downtown Wilmington N.C. at 7:30pm. Usually room S-209 (or a nearby room). The club meetings include a brief business meeting (review of last mtg., treasure report, announcements, up coming shows, etc.). Sometimes we have an educational program on various topics. We have a raffle drawing with first and second place winners choosing from various bottles, followed by an auction with the best prices anywhere.
