Coughs, and Diarrhoea while his wife and little girl clutch him.
Other side advertises Parker's Hair Balsam and shows cherub atop
large bottle that is a well for bald people to fill their
bottles from.

Color trade card for Parker's Hair Balsam that shows family sitting
around fireplace.
Wife says "Yes indeed Gus, for I never would have married you looking as you
do in that portrait; old enough to be my father. Really our happy home comes
from your fortunate use of PARKER'S HAIR BALSAM.
Husband replies "PARKER'S HAIR BALSAM did a big thing for us when it changed
me from that venerable looking old man on the wall."
Back has advertising text. Near mint condition.
- Parker's Tonic - The Great Health & Strength Restorer / Old & Robust Man
Tradecard has advertising for a remedy that "cures coughs, consumption, and asthma
by rejuvenating the blood". The display side shows an obviously ill old man saying
"Oh! That I had your health and appetite". A robust man holding a bottle of Parker's
Tonic replies "I was miserable as you until Parker's Tonic cured me. An occasional
dose before eating keeps me well". The reverse side has extensive advertising text
and a testimonial dated 1884.

Excellent condition except for tear on right hand side.

The healthy woman is holding the bottle and offering glassful to
the sick woman.
Back has advertising text.
Very good condition with crease thru middle and lower right corner -
no other damage.
- Parker's Tonic / Girl in Chair petting Lamb
Front has color litho of little girl in red dress; she's sitting in green
chair and petting a lamb. Front reads "When I was given up to die, by the
most skillful physicians, Parker's Tonic kept me alive and raised me up
after everything else failed. It is just as good for children. Try it and
be convinced.". All the advertising with testimonials on the back.
No damage to card.

The front states "The bloom of health gain rests on the cheeks of our darling thanks
to Parker's Tonic". Great shape except for glue marks on back.

Back has product advertising including Parker's Hair Balsam.
Front picture in great condition but sides of card has been clipped.
Back has some stains from glue marks but all advertising is readable.

Color front shows two girls, one playing drum and other playing
tamborine.
Caption reads:
Though given up to die by the most skilful physicians of Kansas and Colorado,
Parker�s Tonic has kept me alive and raised me up after everything else failed.
It is just as good for children. Try it and be convinced. It fills them to overflowing
with health and happiness. Extract from Mrs. Schultz letter.� Published by Wemple
& Co. New York. Advertised on the back of the card is Parker�s Hair Balm,
Parker�s Tonic and Hindercorns which were manufactured by Hiscox & Co. New
York. Fair condition with several light creases, edge wear and the bottom right
hand corner is dog-eared. Measures 2 13/16� x 4 7/16�.
- Parker's Hair Balsam / Lady with long blonde hair
Color front shows lady with long flowing blonde hair.
Front reads "Parker's Hair Balsam. Restores the youthful color to Gray or faded hair."
The bottom right corner reads: The purity and elegance of Parker's Hair Balsam make
it a great favorite with the ladies. Advertising on the back.
Hard to see 1/2" tear one left side but otherwise perfect.
Card measures 2 7/8" x 4 1/2".
